Centrifugal fans

Centrifugal fans move limited volumes of air at high pressures. Air extraction is performed along the motor axis, while discharge occurs perpendicularly to it. They are equipped with a winding chamber, called cochlea, where the air centrifugated by the fan is sent. Providing high pressure they are suitable for installation at lower stories in buildings with long extraction ducts or in buildings where you have to work against resistences caused by different duct sections and design.
